I made this work in homage to the poem, This Is Just To Say by William Carlos Williams. I was inspired by the simplicity of the words and the complexity of the poem: so much backstory for the reader. I created my version of the poem with porcelain tablets, clay cloth and vintage cloth; all piled up on the kitchen table that I used every day, growing up.
